Neuromodulators are medications that can be used cosmetically for the treatment of wrinkles that have been caused by repeated movement of the facial muscles. Neuromodulators work by injecting different areas of the face with a tiny needle to temporarily relax facial muscles. When the muscles can no longer contract, the overlying skin becomes flat. Lines in the face diminish resulting in smoother, younger looking skin!
Many people will begin to see results within 3-4 days after a treatment. It can take up to 1-2 weeks for full results. Results typically last 3-4 months, but this can vary between individuals.
